Job Description
Marymount Manhattan College seeks applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Physics with specialization in Climate Science/Geophysics, beginning in September 2013.

Description: Responsibilities include teaching general physics and undergraduate courses in the environmental sciences, supervising field lab experiences, developing courses for the general education curriculum, pursuing an active research agenda including research with undergraduates, and performing service to the College. The successful candidate will be part of a core group of faculty within the environmental studies program and should expect to teach and develop courses within this program.

Requirements: Required: Ph.D. in Physics or physics-based Geoscience field. Evidence of successful undergraduate teaching preferred.
