Job as Research Associate at Indiana University Department of Geological Sciences

The Department of Geological Sciences at Indiana University invites applications for a full-time research associate position in geophysics. We seek a highly motivated individual to conduct research on the state of deformation and stress in the crust using numerical modeling methods. Salary will be commensurate with appointment rank and experience. A PhD degree is required. Experience in numerical computer modeling techniques and working with geophysical data including GPS and focal mechanism solutions is required. The initial appointment will be for one year with potential for continuation, depending on funding.
